Description
Seamless microcement for floors, walls, showers and countertops - no joints, no grout.
Where it works
Floors first, then walls: bathrooms, showers, saunas, kitchens, hallways, countertops and continuous floor-to-wall runs. Goes over sound existing tile and concrete indoors, and on balconies or terraces with no rising damp. Resists mould, algae and bacteria, very low VOC, no cement in the mix.
How it goes on
Stainless steel trowel, ready to use. Floors: MicroMarmo Primer (24 h), fibreglass net 70 to 80 g/m2 over the whole floor, first coat covering the net, second coat after 24 h, a light final coat for the effect, sand with 80 grit after 24 h. Walls: the same cycle, with mesh over tile, plywood, cement board and wet areas. Concrete floors get Derasol H2O consolidant (1:1 with water) before the primer. Substrate dry (under 3% at 4 cm), room under 80% humidity.
Primer
MicroMarmo Primer on tile and smooth surfaces. Derasol H2O first on absorbent concrete. Primer RV is fine for wall-only work.
Coverage
6 sq ft per kg on walls without mesh, 3 to 4 sq ft per kg for the full two-coat floor cycle with net (2.5 to 3.5 kg/m2).
Ready to use - colour, mix, apply. Mesh, not dilution, is what moves this number.
Sealing
Two coats of Matt Protector 2K, or Gloss Protector 2K as the final coat, 24 h apart, with Intermedio K first on our jobs. This is what makes it waterproof and walkable: walk on it after 24 h, full duty once the second protector coat has cured. Velatura only on walls where breathability matters more.
Stocked in Toronto. We trowel these materials ourselves on jobs across the GTA - if you want to talk through a substrate before you order, call us.
