Elite Walls started with a simple belief: a wall should be more than a flat coat of paint. We built our name across Toronto and the GTA applying Venetian plaster, microcement and decorative finishes that people actually remember.

The Spiver story

Every product we sell is made by one family in Sicily. Their story is why we chose them, and it is worth telling.

  1. 1950s

    A dream carried abroad

    Like so many Italians after the war, Salvatore Spinello leaves home in search of a future, first Germany, then ten years in Switzerland. The whole time, one idea: return to Sicily and build something that lasts for his family.

  2. October 10, 1978

    Spiver is founded

    Salvatore comes home and founds Spiver, a small family paint business born in a hard place and a hard time, growing year after year on quality and stubbornness.

  3. 2000s

    The second generation

    His children, Giuseppe, Gabriella and Dario, take the reins and push the company forward while keeping it exactly what it was: a family that makes paint.

  4. 2004

    ARTHE Decorative Line

    Spiver launches ARTHE, the decorative collection that makes its name worldwide: Venetian plasters, metallics, limewash and the finishes this store is built on.

  5. Today

    Sicily to 45+ countries

    A 20,000 square metre site, a doubled production line, an in-house chemistry lab for research and development, and a Training Academy where applicators learn the craft. Still the Spinello family, still Sicily.

  6. 2026, Toronto

    The story reaches Canada

    Elite Plaster becomes an authorized Spiver dealer, run by installers who trusted these materials on their own walls first. A family business from Sicily, brought to you by a crew in Etobicoke that applies what it sells. That is the whole idea.
